SYNTHETIC DECKS CLEANING
The life of the product is conditional on meticulous compliance with the below recommendations:
- Rinse with fresh water each time the boat is used.
- Wash with a medium bristles brush and neutral cleaner to be rinsed, at least once a month.
- Ensure that no soap residue remains on the material.
- Ensure that no areas of standing water remain in the bonding areas between substrate and material.
- Ensure that the material is completely dry during periods of cold weather: an increase in the volume of water during ice formation could damage the product.
- It’s also suggested to provide a cover during winter.
Synthetic decks can be washed with a pressure washer: keep the nozzle at a suitable distance and take great care not to direct the jet of water directly onto the perimeter seals.
Check annually the tightness of hinges, hatches, lifters and all deck equipment, especially in situations of strong vibrations, shocks and major temperature variations.
Check the integrity of the perimeter sealing bead annually.
